The Impact You’ll Provide:

Financial Management

• Showcase Your Skills: Prepare and manage financial reports for the board and investors, ensuring they’re accurate and timely.
• Plan for the Future: Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, cash flow management, and forecasting.
• Extract insights from data: Use Netsuite (and Excel) to provide the right information to the C-levels in ad-hoc analysis.
• Interact with relevant stakeholders:  Liaise and consult the external accountant on topics related to the correct allocation of expenses in reporting, VAT tax inquiries, and other financial topics.
• Control the status of Finances: oversee the internal pre-accounting process and the payment flows.
• Stay on Top of Regulations: Ensure compliance with financial regulations (in particular to VAT) and internal policies.

Project delivery

• Deliver the suggestions to airline/airport stakeholders: Conduct market studies for airlines/airports focusing on Virtual Interline demand and supply by forecasting airport market growth in terms of new PAX.
• Become the Virtual interline data expert: Understand the meaning of each data point in the business deeply and provide strategic suggestions to external and internal stakeholders.
• Network with the Best: Participate in meetings with airports, airlines, and travel technology companies.
• Support the sales effort: Provide relevant data points to the business development team to boost their sales pitch

Strategic Support:

• Shape the Company’s Future: Support the CEO and COO in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate and Solve Problems: Work with different teams to identify, review, and solve business problems.
• Drive Improvement: Create and measure KPIs to achieve operational transparency and drive improvement measures.
• Join the Discussion: Participate in product and strategy discussions to drive business growth.

Operational Assistance:

• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Assist in organizing and coordinating day-to-day business operations.
• Support the Leaders: Provide administrative support to the CEO and COO as needed.

Your profile

• You are flexible, and you can quickly assimilate information and connect the dots.
• You have a proactive approach to work with a willingness to gain autonomy.
• You are hungry for Success, possess a 'roll up your sleeves' mentality, and are eager to succeed.
• You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• You have 2-5 years of professional experience in management consulting, finance, investment banking, or a high-growth startup.
• You are proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and data management, with experience using Netsuite or similar ERP software.
• You have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Ability to cope with large datasets
• Communicative: You excel in both written and verbal communication.
• Independent & Team Player: You can work independently and as part of a team.
• You are highly organized and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the travel industry.
• Experience in a client-facing role or business development.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools.
• Fluency in German.
